Psicologi senza frontiere riesce a svolgere la sua missione  grazie all'enorme sforzo compiuto ogni giorno da tutti i suoi volontari che in Italia o all'estero si dedicano alla crescita dell'associazione e alla buona riuscita dei suoi progetti. Se sei interessato a diventare un volontario di Psicologi senza Frontiere, potrai trovare in queste pagine informazioni sul tipo di expertise che sono oggi richieste all'associazione da realtà già operative sul campo. Il livello di esperienza è molto importante per determinare quale ruolo, almeno inizialmente si può rivestire all'interno dei periodi di volonatriato;  PSF ha predisposto piani di tirocinio anche guidati per studenti e neolaureati che decidano di svolgere un periodo di volonatriato/formazione all'estero. Appositi corsi e momenti formativi vengono svolti con cadenza semestrale nella sede nazionale di Padova. Per gli iscritti all'associazione è inoltre possibile accedere a materiali specifici per la formazione del volontario.
